Keeping Business All Together

There are a few things I have learned on the road of life about business. We call it "business" but it's really a part of life. Business is the way we interact with each other when we want to trade value for products or service. A business provides products or services so it's a very special kind of activity.

Not everyone can start a business. Some people who start businesses start a lot of them. Sometimes we call those folks serial entrepreneurs. I don't think I would make a very good serial entrepreneur.

If you run a business on the Internet you probably want to get it listed in the Yahoo Directory or maybe a directory like Joe Ant. But you may just want to add a listing to your own private directory if you have the time to create a big list of Websites for other people to visit.

Discovery is a never-ending process. We love to absorb new information and learn about new things. The Internet makes that so easy and yet so expensive. A lot of Websites now charge for access to their articles. I don't like that. But there are still plenty of blogs out there.

If you read a lot of blogs you might consider using a blog reader like Bloglines or maybe something else. Or you might just visit each and every blog you can bookmark in your browser. I don't like to use blog readers. I prefer to just visit Websites directly.

A good blog is hard to find. And maybe we should make it easier to find good lists of blogs because that way we'll always have a lot of good content to read. I enjoy checking out new Websites. Even if they are business sites.
